Paper lamps for the paper planet series by Hettler.Tüllmann studio were created through simple, repetitive folds. The series examine the structural potential and textures of paper in various forms.
This was my main project during a four month internship at the Hettler.Tüllmannn studio in Berlin focusing on material selection, colour, intial concept testing, prototyping and production.

Made of 100% recycled paper the Paper Lamps are following the Origami tradition. The delicately folded edges pop-up and create structure. Lit from inside they are a source of both glowing light and dark shadow. Available as both floor and pendant lamps.
